About this pattern
The book sleeve is the make I have filmed more than anything else I design, and this is the written pattern behind it. It is worked in the round in my cluster puff stitch, which builds a thick fabric that genuinely cushions a screen rather than just covering it, and a chain-and-button loop keeps it closed in a tote.
Both sizes run through the pattern color-coded: the Kindle version finishes about 6 inches wide by 7.5 inches tall, the book version about 7 by 9. The sleeve is cluster puffs in the round, so the finished size lives in your starting chain and your tension. Notes for fitting an iPad mini or a paperback are included.
