About this pattern
This is the horizontal cousin of my Meadow Kindle Sleeve: the same cluster puff fabric, but the device slides in from the long side instead of the top. If you read one-handed or keep your Kindle in a small bag, the side opening is easier to get in and out of and the finished shape sits flatter.
It finishes about 7.5 inches wide by 6 inches tall, sized to a Kindle Paperwhite (4.9 by 6.85 inches). There are notes for chaining to fit a different e-reader or a book.
Two pages, the cluster puff explained in full, and a pointer to my Instagram reel showing the 180-degree turn at the start if that step gives you trouble. The only real difference from the vertical sleeve is which way it opens, so pick the one that suits how you carry your reader.
