Needle chart

Sentro machines knit one yarn per row — use this chart for duplicate-stitch designs after knitting, or as a needle-accurate map for hand-fed colorwork. Column numbers = needle numbers.

How the Sentro pattern generator works

The stripe designer turns your colors into row-by-row instructions ("Rows 1–6: knit Blush, Rows 7–10: knit Cream…") sized to your total row count, so you can crank without counting in your head. The photo-to-chart mode converts any picture into a colorwork chart locked to your machine's exact needle count (22, 40 or 48) for duplicate-stitch embellishment. The row counter converts finished length and your measured gauge into the rows you actually need — including the doubled fabric of a fold-over beanie.

Sentro row count cheat sheet (medium yarn, ≈7 rows/inch)

Adult double-layer beanie (48 needle): ≈120 rows plus 2–4 for the crown gather · Kids double-layer beanie (40 needle): ≈105 rows · Doll hat (22 needle): ≈55 rows · 60-inch scarf: ≈420 rows. Always knit a 20-row gauge swatch first — yarn weight and tension change everything.
