Name Blanket FAQ

How do I crochet from this chart?

Each square is one stitch (or one C2C block). Work bottom-to-top: odd rows read right-to-left, even rows left-to-right — the row numbers on the chart follow this. For C2C, start at the bottom-right corner and work diagonally.

Which letter size should I pick?

7×9 letters are chunkier and easier to read from across the room — best for blankets and C2C. 5×7 is compact — great for pillows, bags and appliqués.

What size will my blanket panel be?

Depends on technique: in worsted single crochet a square is roughly 0.28", a C2C block roughly 0.8". The estimated finished size updates live above — add rows/columns of background or border to reach your target blanket size.

Can I use this for knitting or cross-stitch?

Yes — the chart is a plain colorwork grid. It works for intarsia knitting, cross-stitch, latch hook, and even our photo-to-chart projects.
