Circular Knitting Machine Pattern Maker

Design repeat motifs and tile them seamlessly around your tube — works with Sentro, Addi Express, Jamit and any circular machine from 10 to 100 needles. Free, no signup.

Repeat math

48 needles ÷ 8 sts = 6 perfect repeats 🎉

Tube preview (unrolled)

Cranked circular machines knit one yarn per row — work the contrast color by hand on the charted needles, or knit plain and add the motif afterwards with duplicate stitch.

Row-by-row color runs

Fair-isle style repeats for circular knitting machines

Because a circular machine knits a closed tube, a colorwork motif only lines up when its stitch width divides the needle count evenly — 8-stitch motifs fit a 48-needle Sentro perfectly (6 repeats), while a 46-needle Addi Express Kingsize wants 23- or 2-stitch repeats. This pattern maker does that math for you, warns about remainders, and turns your motif into per-needle, row-by-row color runs you can follow at the machine.

Which needle counts do common machines have?

Sentro machines come in 22, 40 and 48 needles; the Addi Express Professional has 22 and the Kingsize 46; Jamit machines are typically 48. Set any count from 10–100 and the chart, preview and instructions all lock to your real tube.
