About this pattern
This is the beanie to make when you need a hat to actually fit someone. It is worked from the crown down, so you can try it on as you go, and it is written in eight sizes with a head circumference, a finished height and a yardage for every single one.
The size chart: newborn 13-15 inch head and 5 inches tall, 0-6 months 16-17 inches and 5.5, 6-12 months 18 inches and 6.5, 12-24 months 19 inches and 6.75, toddler 18-20 inches and 7, child 19-21 inches and 7.5, teen or small adult 22 inches and 8, large adult 23 inches and 8.25 to 8.5. After that it is straight cluster puff down to a ribbed post-stitch brim.
