About this pattern
A pixie bonnet is the one baby hat that stays on, because it ties under the chin instead of relying on a snug brim. This one is worked in my cluster puff stitch on a big hook, so it grows fast and comes out soft rather than stiff.
Four sizes with a full chart: newborn fits a 13 to 14 inch head and finishes 5.5 inches top to bottom, 0-6 months 14 to 17 inches and 6 to 6.25, 6-12 months 17 to 18 inches and 6.75 to 7, 12-24 months 18 to 20 inches and 7 to 7.25. Measure the baby's head against that chart before you begin. The body is worked flat and folded, so the shaping is easy to follow, and there is an option for curled ties if you want them.
