Meadow Wash Cloth

Upgrade your bath routine with this luxuriously textured meadow stitch wash cloth. The cluster puff stitch creates a thick, spongy fabric that feels like a spa treatment, and in absorbent cotton yarn it just gets better with every wash. This is one of the best beginner projects in my shop — small, quick, and the perfect way to learn my signature stitch.

The finished cloth measures about 7 inches wide by 7 1/2 inches tall before the border, a perfect palm-friendly size for the bath, kitchen, or gift basket.

You will need an H hook (5 mm), size 4 cotton yarn (I used Hobby Lobby's I Love This Cotton), a tapestry needle, and scissors — that is the whole supply list. Stitches are chains, single crochet, double crochet, and the cluster puff, which I break down step by step with clear explanations so you will have it memorized by row three.
