About this pattern
Put a bar inside this pouch and two things happen: the cluster puff texture lathers and exfoliates while you wash, and the slippery last sliver of soap stops escaping down the drain. It is one of the most useful small things I have designed.
It finishes about 5 inches tall, and the size is set by your starting chain, so if you buy chunky artisan bars, chain a little longer. It is worked as a flat pocket up both sides, so there is almost no seaming. The cluster puff is the only stitch to learn here and it is written out in full.
Five pages, twenty-three photos, and the cluster puff explained step by step. Pair one with a nice bar of soap and you have a gift that costs almost nothing and always gets used.
