About this pattern
This is the towel topper reworked the way I actually wanted it: instead of a button and a loop, you start on a wooden ring, crochet the panel, and attach a second ring at the other end. It hangs over an oven door handle, it slides off in a second when the towel needs washing, and there is nothing to unbutton with wet hands.
The panel is eleven stitches wide and eleven rows long, so the PDF does not print a finished measurement - it is set by the rings you buy and how many rows you work, and adding rows makes it hang lower.
Three pages, nine photos, and the cluster puff, magic circle and half double all written out step by step. It is a fast, cheap make that sells surprisingly well in kitchen colors.
