About this pattern
A mug rug is the size a coaster should have been - big enough that your mug and a cookie both fit, small enough to finish in an evening. The cluster puff fabric is thick, so it takes the heat off a table properly rather than just decorating it.
It measures about 5 inches across without the fringe, and the fringe adds whatever length you cut.
Four pages, eighteen photos, and the cluster puff written out step by step alongside the chain, single crochet and double crochet you will use. A set of four in one colorway is a genuinely nice housewarming gift, and they sell well on a craft fair table.
