The Meadow Scarf

This is the pattern that started it all — the classic Meadow Scarf, worked end to end in my signature cluster puff stitch for a scarf with incredible squish, warmth, and texture. If you have been admiring the meadow stitch around my shop, this is its purest form.

The pattern includes two color-coded sizes: adult (about 7 1/2 inches wide by 70 inches long — a proper, generous wrap) and child (about 5 1/2 by 49 inches). I used one cake of Caron Big Cakes in Toffee Brickle for the adult size and a skein of Red Heart Ombre for the child version — cake yarns look stunning in this stitch. The faux fur pom-poms on the ends are optional, but they take it to another level, and I link my favorite pom shop in the pattern.

You will need a J hook (6 mm), size 4 yarn, a tapestry needle, and scissors. Stitches are chains, single crochet, double crochet, and cluster puff, all explained step by step.
