About this pattern
Little ones lose their minds over this bag. The crocodile stitch makes overlapping scales that beg to be touched, and in a self-striping yarn the color shifts scale by scale on its own, so it looks far more complicated than it is.
It finishes about 6.5 inches tall from the base to the top of the purse, not counting the strap, which is a good size for a toddler to wear crossbody. The purse is worked bottom-up in the round starting from a magic circle.
