    MAKE IT YOURS

A color plan for your Meadow Cup Cozy

Play with your yarn before you pick up your hook. This builder lays out your chosen colors across a seven-row cup cozy, with a half double crochet edge at the bottom and top and five CL puff rows in between. Choose two, three, four, five or seven distinct base colors. The live preview and numbered plan update together, so you can see exactly where each shade will go.

    Start with something you love

A feltie can set the whole mood. Upload a closely cropped photo to sample its colors, or enter a few color words and a theme. A pink strawberry with sage leaves might inspire a rosy main color, a leafy accent and a soft cream. Suggestions use the selected yarn range’s starter shade library. You can swap any shade in the dropdowns, try another suggestion or reverse the palette. Choosing a shade already in your palette swaps those two colors.

    Stripes or a gentle ombré?

Balanced stripes distribute your palette in a decorative arrangement. Repeating stripes cycle through it from the bottom. Ombré orders the suggested shades from light to dark and spreads them over all seven rows. Each band uses an actual named shade; the preview never creates a blended yarn shade you would need to buy. Larger palettes may need neighboring hues to create a tonal progression.

    A simple three-color example

Choose three colors and balanced stripes. Call your shades A, B and C. Working from the bottom, the plan is A, B, C, A, C, B, A. That gives matching HDC edges and all three colors in the puff section. Download the color card for your project bag, print the row plan, or save the palette on this device to return to later. Saved palettes do not store your photo.

How many rows are in this cup cozy?

The base cozy has seven rows: row 1 is HDC, rows 2–6 are CL puff, and row 7 is HDC. The optional faux-fur trim is an extra row above row 7 and is not included in your base color count.

Can I match colors to my feltie?

Yes. Add a clear, closely cropped photo, or describe colors and familiar themes such as a pink strawberry, a bee or a pumpkin. Photo matching samples visible colors; text matching uses color words and theme keywords. Neither identifies the feltie with AI. You can change every suggested shade.

    Are the yarn colors exact?

Shade names come from the listed yarn ranges, but screen swatches are approximate. This is a starter shade library, not a complete inventory. Check the actual yarn, dye lot and current availability before buying.
